Dear dancers and dancing enthusiasts!
The long anticipated 2012 Northern Lights Classic has come to a close. The bar was raised yet again with amazing dancing for the titles of Alberta Closed Adult Standard & Latin and the Edmonton Open Standard & Latin Championships! Stunning performances by DoDel Kids Club, Shelley’s Dance Company and of course the Vibe Tribe, redefined amazing, unique and powerful! We're so happy with everything that happened!
Thanks to all the competitors, performers and audience members for making this a memorable event. A big thank you to an excellent set of weekend volunteers who really made it all come together!
Finally, the amazing organizing committee of Brian Chan, Vincent Fung, Olya Goultiaeva, Shane Kermode, Shaylen Naidoo, Steve Ponscak and Darren Yesmaniski deserve MANY THANKS for dedicating almost 1000 volunteer hours to pull off this amazing event!
